   I photographed the fund raiser for Gilda’s Club. It was very successful and the participants all had a great time. Perfect weather for it!

An Evening at the Races

Please join the WCO for the 4th annual Kentucky Derby party. This exciting evening of fun, friends, frivolity – and plenty of Kentucky Derby-themed activities provides an excellent way to enjoy a spring night while supporting the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. 

Highlights of the event include:

• Mint juleps and a scrumptious Southern-style meal     

• Viewing of the real Kentucky Derby (race is run at 5:04 p.m.)

• Parade of Hats - guests are invited to wear their best Derby-inspired attire, including hats (prizes will be awarded)

• Horse race betting on actual taped horse races using “funny-money”

• Silent and Live Auctions

I photographed Noogie Night 2008 for Gilda’s Club.  They had a nice turnout with Barry and Cindy Alvarez as hosts. John Roach was the M.C., Tom Morris the auctioneer, and entertainment was provided by comedian Jeff Cesario. Jeff was a writer on The Larry Sander’s Show. His act was hilarious! The auction to raise money for Gilda’s House was very successful.
