The wedding show was at The Marriott June 18th. It went really well. We had a steady flow of brides (and a few grooms) all night with quite a bit of interest. It was fun seeing all the fellow vendors there as well. It seems we don’t see each other much unless its at the shows. Too busy.
A few couples were interested in Destination Weddings. I hope they call!
We’ll definitely do the summer show next year too.

The wedding was beautiful in Punta Cana! Lenore is a beautiful bride! She and Dan had 65 guests at their destination wedding. That is a huge group of family and friends. A great group of people.
The wedding was at sunset, which is perfect for a groom in a suit. Mid afternoon weddings there are extremely hot and usually very bright. This means alot of squinting and sweating was avoided by all! A nice ocean breeze blew in, making slight waves perfect for ocean background photos. I took great photos of the around the beautifully manicured grounds of the Iberostar Bavaro. Followed by a great steak dinner and dancing at the Cana Restaraunt. Great Cuban cigars courtesy of Paul, and cocktails at the sports and disco bars after that!
I’m looking forward to photographing their “Stateside” reception in Chicago!
Well, my next destination wedding will be in Punta Cana in January 2008. The couple and 55 of their closest friends and family will be at the Iberostar Bavaro in the Dominican Republic. They will also be having a state side reception in Chicago which I’ll photograph also. We are all very excited here! Congratulations Daniel and Lenore!
